En un satsang celebrado en la divina presencia en California, EE. UU., El 20 de junio de 2016; cuando una familia que atraviesa tiempos difíciles busca orientación, esto es lo que dijo Swami:
Pregunta: Swami, mi familia está pasando por muchas complicaciones. No sabemos dónde ubicarnos, ahora que tenemos que mudarnos de donde nos quedamos. ¿Puedes guiarnos en este momento tan difícil para nosotros?
Swami: Ustedes, hermanos y hermanas, tienen que pensar igual. Debes pensar el uno en el otro, no en ti mismo. La familia no se trata de pensar en ti como un individuo. Del movimiento "individual", a la "familia", donde piensan el uno en el otro. Solo si todos comienzan a tener en cuenta los puntos de vista y las opiniones de los demás, encontrarán una solución.
Si hay cuatro caballos enganchados a un carro y todos lo jalan en diferentes direcciones, ¿se moverá el carro? Todos deben ir en la misma dirección. Entonces, antes que nada, deben pensar el uno en el otro y luego pensar lo que Dios desearía, entonces encontrarán una solución, de inmediato. Cuando todos piensan diferente, todos piensan solo en ellos mismos, y no pueden llegar a una conclusión. La solución está en tus manos.

Family is not about thinking of yourself as an individual.

In a satsang held in the divine presence in California, USA, on June 20, 2016; when a family going through diffcult times seeks guidance, here is what Swami said:
Question: Swami, my family is going through a lot of complications. We do not know where to accommodate ourselves, now that we have to move from where we are staying. Can you please guide us during this very difficult time for us?
Swami: You brothers and sisters have to think alike. You have to think about each other, not about yourself. Family is not about thinking of yourself as an individual. From ‘individual’ move to ‘family’, where you think about each other. Only if you all start taking account of each other’s views and opinions will you find a solution. If there are four horses harnessed to a cart and all pull it in different directions, will the cart move? They all have to go in the same direction. So, first of all, you must think about each other and then think what God would want – then you will find a solution, immediately. Because everybody is thinking differently, everybody is thinking only about themselves, you are unable to come to a conclusion. The solution is in your hands.
