Cuando se le preguntó a Sri Madhusudan Naidu acerca de la Universidad que está siendo establecida por Bhagavan, si tendrá importancia la cultura india en el plan de estudios y también la ingerencia directa de Swami durante los primeros años de crecimiento de la Universidad, respondió así.
La Universidad Sri Sathya Sai para la Excelencia Humana tendrá una sección separada para la Cultura India y las Bellas Artes. En la primera fase, será canto, música y danza. Estas son las cosas que se estarán implementando en el primer año de la universidad. Y también va a haber un curso muy interesante llamado " Cid Science" que será todo sobre lo que los Vedas y los Upanishads han enseñado, y cómo encaja todo eso, en todo el esquema de las cosas, hoy.
Swami viene con este curso en la universidad que está comenzando en el próximo curso académico. Esa es una buena noticia y estoy muy emocionado por este curso. Si pudiera volver a ser un estudiante, me encantaría tomar este curso.
Swami dijo, ya que Èl está comenzando una Universidad en el próximo año académico, tiene que estar en el terreno(involucrado directamente). Es un líder y gerente perfecto y se encargaría de que el proyecto despegue bien, por lo que obviamente pasará más tiempo en Gulbarga por el bien de la Universidad que se acerca.
Pero eso no significa que Él no estará disponible aquí y que no viajaría a otros lados. Sin embargo, se puede esperar que venga más para los festivales, o en esos días importantes o especiales en los que muchos devotos acuden para estar con Él, mientras que la parte sustancial del próximo año será con los estudiantes y el personal del Campus de Gulbarga donde se está estableciendo la universidad. Eso es de esperar.
En los días iniciales, cuando la gente iba a las entrevistas, ¡venían más para investigar y no por la entrevista!
Le hacían preguntas a Swami, y alguien una vez le preguntó: "Swami, ¿por qué dejaste Puttaparthi y viniste aquí cuando todo estaba bien establecido allí, por qué empezar de nuevo?". Y Swami le pregunto al devoto, "¿No eres un hombre de negocios? Si abres otra sucursal de tu negocio, ¿qué haces? ¿Sigues sentado en la oficina central o vas a la sucursal, te sientas allí y haces que las cosas sucedan? "El devoto dijo: 'Sí, si estoy invirtiendo y comenzando un nuevo lugar, una nueva rama de mi negocio, prestaré atención a eso'.
"Eso es exactamente lo que estoy haciendo", contestó Swami.
Cuando quiso que apareciera Muddenahalli, vino aquí, le prestó toda su atención. Ahora, cuando quiere que aparezca el Campus Universitario de Gulbarga, estoy seguro de que también pondrá toda su atención allí.
Entonces, irá allí y hará lo que se requiera.
Al mismo tiempo, es una gran oportunidad para todos nosotros aquí. Swami le dijo hace algún tiempo, 'habiendo salido de un tipo de ilusión; no termines en otra. "

When Sri Madhusudan Naidu was asked about the university which is being established by Bhagawan, whether there will be importance given to Indian Culture in the curriculum and also Swami's direct availability during the university's initial years of growth, he answered thus.
Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence will have a separate section for Indian Culture and Fine Arts. In the first phase, it will be vocal, music and dance. These are the things which are coming up in the very first year of the university. And there is also going to be a very interesting course called ‘Vedic Sciences’, which will be all about what Vedas and Upanishads have taught and how does all that fit into the whole scheme of things now. Swami is coming up with this course in the university which is starting in the coming academic year. That’s a good news and I am very excited about this course. If I could become a student again, I would love to take this course.
Swami said, since He is starting a University in the coming academic year, He has to be on the ground. He is a perfect leader and manager and would see to it that the project takes off well, so He is obviously going to spend more time at Gulbarga for the sake of the university which is coming up. But that does not mean that He will not be available here and He would not be travelling elsewhere. However you can expect that He will be coming here more for the festivals or on those important or special days when many devotees come here to be with Him while the substantial part of the next year is going to be with the students and staff of the Gulbarga campus where the university is being established. That is to be expected.
In the initial days, when people would come for interviews, they would come more for investigation, and not interview! They would ask questions to Swami so someone asked, ‘Swami why would you leave Puttaparthi and come here when everything is well established there, why start anew?’ Swami asked the business man devotee, ‘Are you not a businessman? If you open another branch of your business, what do you do? Do you keep sitting in the head office or you go to the branch office, sit there and make things happen?’ The devotee said, ‘Yes if I am investing and starting a new place, a new branch of my business I would pay attention to that.’ “That’s exactly what I am doing”, Swami replied.
When He wanted Muddenahalli to come up, He came here, paid all His attention. Now when He wants Gulbarga campus to come up, I am sure He will pay all His attention out there too. So, He will go there and do whatever is required. At the same time, it’s a great opportunity for all of us here. Swami told sometime back, ‘having got out of one kind of illusion; don’t end up in another one.’ He keeps warning! Having got out of one illusion of a form, name and a place, don’t you end up in another illusion. Then you are no better. So Swami’s unavailability is an opportunity to go further within and develop that inner connect with Swami.
