¡Amor puro solo, nada más!
Mientras Swami hablaba con una devota y le contaba sobre el maravilloso desarrollo en Karwarka, Karnataka dijo: "Aunque los codiciosos vendedores de la tierra se retiraron en el último momento y pidieron un precio mucho más alto de lo que se acordó mutuamente, poniendo así en peligro todo el programa de Bhoomi Puja para el nuevo campus, un devoto se adelantó y ofreció su tierra para la escuela de Swami ¡salvando así el día! Dios que midió toda la tierra en un paso y el cielo en otro (refiriéndose al Avatar Vamana) posee todo, sin embargo, acepta una ofrenda si está hecha de Amor puro. Es como un padre que gana y le da dinero de bolsillo al niño, y nunca lo recuperara, a menos que el niño lo ofrezca con gran sinceridad ".
"¿No es por eso que Krishna comió mantequilla en la casa de las Gopikas a pesar de que tenía mucha en su propia casa? La manteca de Gopikas era pura sin apegos ", agregó.
Esto me recordó el día en que, por ignorancia, le pregunté a Swami por qué él simplemente no aparece en el sueño de las personas adineradas, por lo que podria tener mucho para hacer todos los proyectos. La sesión de la tarde en la sala de Premamrutham comenzó por darle la bienvenida a Bhagavan con bhajans divinos , ojos fervientes que buscaban su presencia divina y corazones llenos de devoción.

La sesión vespertina del segundo día de la Asamblea Mundial de la Juventud comenzó con la llegada de Bhagavan a las 5.30 de la tarde. Bhagavan fue recibido con los tradicionales cantos Purna Kumbam y Védico . La magnífica sala de Premamrutham estaba repleta de delegados, estudiantes y devotos de varios países que esperaban ver a su Dios más amoroso. Pure Love Alone, None Else!
As Swami was talking to a lady devotee and telling her about the wonderful development at Karwar, Karnataka He said, “Even though the greedy sellers of the land backed out at the last moment and asked for much higher price than what was mutually agreed upon, thereby jeopardising the whole Bhoomi Puja programme for the new campus, a devotee came forward and offered his land for Swami’s school thus saving the day! God who has measured the entire earth in one step and the sky in another (referring to Vamana Avatar) owns everything, yet He accepts an offering if it is made out of Pure Love. It is just like a father who earns and gives pocket money to the child, and never takes it back unless offered by the child with great sincerity.”
“Isn’t it why Krishna ate butter at the home of Gopikas even though he had plenty at his own home. The butter of Gopikas was pure without attachments”, He added.
This reminded me of the day when out of ignorance I asked Swami as to why does He not simply appear in wealthy people’s dream, so that He can have plenty to do all the projects. He reprimanded for my liberty and said, “Who do you think I am? I cannot accept impure money. It’s like ocean filled with saline water unfit for drinking, unless purified.”
I have seen Him refuse offerings and shred cheques, which were not pure. He won’t accept anything, not even a ‘clove bud’ if it’s not offered with pure selfless love!

November 18, 2017 was the most awaited day for all the students, staff, devotees and youth delegates gathered from five continents of the world, in the majestic hall of Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham Auditorium. The World Youth Meet 2017 orientation and the Celebration of the secondanniversary of the online radio Sanathani Vani (The Voice Eternal) were the two most important happenings of the day. WORLD YOUTH MEET 2017 NOVEMBER 19 2017, DAY 1 - MORNING
It was indeed a week of grand Sangam of the World Youth Meet, the 92nd birthday celebrations of the advent of the Kaliyuga Purna Avatar Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and this season, an additional sweetener in the form of the World Music Festival was launched by the grace of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, at Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli.
The morning session began with melodious Bhajans at Premamrutham hall. Bhagawan was welcomed with Vedic invocation, and He blessed all the devotees gathered at the hall, to celebrate Him, His love and His eternal glory.
Delegates from 35 countries had come to participate in the World Youth Meet 2017, theme being Unity, Purity, Divinity-One World, One Youth. Swami has always laid emphasis on His youth brigade who have been given the greatest opportunity of carrying His mission forward.
After the dignitaries lit the sacred lamp to officiate the day’s proceedings, youths from different countries representing various religions unitedly offered their prayers to Bhagawan in the form of a multi-faith prayer to lead everyone from Unity, to Purity, to Divinity. With the blessings of Bhagawan, the World Youth Meet logo was unveiled - the earth supported by four hands, representing the youths from the four regions of the world, who shall be the hands that work for Bhagawan..... WORLD YOUTH MEET 2017 NOVEMBER 19 2017, DAY 1 - EVENING
The evening session at the Premamrutham hall began by welcoming Bhagawan with divine Bhajans, earnest eyes seeking His divine presence and hearts filled with devotion.
After a brief summary of the day’s proceedings by Ms Valeska Ryes, there was a series of launches which were blessed by Bhagawan.
The first was an instrumental musical CD by a set of musicians titled, Swara Sudha by Swami Himself.
The next launch was a book, Lord Ever in Our Midst-Poorna Avatar Sathya Sai Baba, authored by Dr. Hiramalini Seshadri. It is a biographical account of Bhagawan from His birth to His ongoing mission through His subtle presence.
The third launch was yet another book “Together in God-A Journey with God to Self-Transformation”, by Mrs. Rita and Mr. Robert Daniele, which is a remarkable account of their personal transformation in their journey of life guided by their God, Sathya Sai Baba.
The first performance as a part of the World Music Festival was by musicians from Africa and Latin America.

WORLD YOUTH MEET 2017 NOVEMBER 20 2017, DAY 2 - MORNING
The World Youth Meet is a congregation of all the delegates from all walks of life sharing various insights on spirituality, and emphasising on how with a pure heart one can be united forever and ultimately reach God. The keynote speakers who were to address the gathering for the morning session were Father Charles Ogada, Founder, Spiritan Self Awareness Initiative, Sri Khurshed Batliwala, Senior Faculty, The Art of Living and Mr Kevin Sheehan, Executive Director and Co-founder of Hope Collaborative.
Father Charles Ogada as usual, captivated the audience with elegance. He said that living in the presence of Bhagawan and getting drenched in His ever-flowing nectar of Love is Purity. He further said that difficulties in life are an opportunity to seek God and gain His blessings as these situations let one contemplate on God.
Beings are many, Breath is one
The speaker further beautifully addressed that to reach the third and the highest level ie. Divinity, one has to start seeing the reflection of Bhagawan in everyone and contemplate. At that level, every breath is controlled by Him. Bhagawan is to be made the center of one’s life. He said that there are two big barriers to spirituality and they are Fear and Shame. WORLD YOUTH MEET 2017 NOVEMBER 20 2017, DAY 2 - EVENING
The evening session of the second day World Youth Meet commenced at the arrival of Bhagawan past 5.30 p.m. Bhagawan was welcomed with traditional Purna Kumbam and Vedic chants. The magnificent Premamrutham hall was fully packed with delegates, students and devotees from various countries waiting to have the glimpse of their most loving God. Bhagawan further walked amidst devotees letting them have His Divine Darshan and giving them chance to interact with Him.
The proceedings started off with Veda chanting by the students of Sri Sathya Sai Vidyaniketanam, Gulbarga campus.
This was followed by a talk by Dr Victory Craxi, a former student of Bhagawan from Primary School in Prasanthi Nilayam, and currently a practicing Ayurvedic Physician. The speaker beautifully summarised the morning session giving a gist of all the speakers. Further, he shared the summary of the afternoon interactive session which focused on team work and unity. Unity and Purity together give rise to Divinity.
There were three launches thereafter - a musical album ‘Sai is Love’ by German devotees, and two books by name ‘Nenu Na Sai’, penned by late Sri Ramaraju, an ardent devotee....

WORLD YOUTH MEET 2017 NOVEMBER 21 2017, DAY 3 - MORNING
The morning session of the third day of the World Youth Meet witnessed some exhilarating speeches and captivating cultural programmes.
The first speaker of the morning was Swami Swatmananda, a reputed and dynamic leader of the Chinmaya mission. An Acharya of the Chinmaya mission and National Director of All India Chinmaya Yuva Kendra, he quoted Swami Chinmayananda and said that it is a crime to have small and selfish aims. He encouraged the gathered youth to broaden their thinking and consider the entire wold as an extension of themselves. He urged young students to love what they do and do what they love. His speech ended with a short video clip of Swami Chinmayananda in which the renowned master gives a practical illustration to help everyone see the unity in creation rather than the differences.
The next speaker was Sri Nithya Shanthi, an internationally reputed spiritual teacher, writer, educator. Sri Nithya Shanthi, with the help of practical demonstrations and exercises, helped the audience understand the meaning of unity, purity and divinity.....

WORLD YOUTH MEET 2017 NOVEMBER 21 2017, DAY 3 - EVENING
The evening commenced with Vedic invocation of Sarva Devata Gayatri by the students from Prasanthi Balamandira Girls High School, Chikkaballapur. A youth delegate, Spencer Lewensen from Arizona, USA presented the summary of the morning proceedings.
Premamrutham was decorated by the devotees from Turkey and Greece. The wall hangings and their flags silently hummed the music of their land, keeping everyone expectant to hear their music. The Japanese musicians, who are traditional shrine builders in Japan commenced day three of the World Music festival. When Swami visited Japan earlier this year, He commanded them to build an Ashram at Japan.

WORLD YOUTH MEET 2017 NOVEMBER 22 2017, DAY 4
Karma Yoga has been the path laid by Swami to reach the divine. Swami prescribes selfless acts as the capsules towards godhood. He continues to beseech His followers to walk on this path, for a faster redemption of themselves. Following His doctrine, all the delegates, students, staff and devotees proceeded for Grama Seva, at the daybreak of November 22 2017, to offer tokens of love and gratitude to the residents of various villages and school children as well. Two groups had embarked on the road to Seva after seeking Bhagawan’s blessings. The first group of delegates and devotees served sweets to 30 schools that the Annapurna trust has adopted. The second group offered sweets, food and clothes to over ten villages.

92nd BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS OF BHAGAWAN SRI SATHYA SAI BABA - NOVEMBER 23 2017 - MORNING
Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham was flooded as devotees were pouring in, unable to contain their joy and happiness, eager to wish the Lord on His Ninety Second Birthday. Bhagawan, who is love manifested in human form, didn’t disappoint anyone in the audience, going round the hall and distributing chocolates, ensuring that nobody was left out. As people leapt to catch the chocolates playfully thrown by the Lord, every heart leapt in celebration. Swami patiently and lovingly cut each cake that had been brought by devotees from around the globe with the sole intention of pleasing Him.
Bhagawan was welcomed onto the stage by a soulful ‘Swagatam’ song rendered by Sri Sumeet Tappoo. This was followed by a birthday song from all assembled, wishing their beloved Swami in one united voice. The morning proceedings commenced with the Vedic invocation by the students from the Jayapura Campus.
The first presentation on this glorious morning was by the devotees of Bhagawan from Singapore. They continue to play a pivotal role in the ongoing mission of the Lord in the subtle form. Swami had blessed the group, which comprises of highly accomplished professionals who humbly submit themselves to their master, to offer a garland of songs at His lotus feet. The songs were rendered expressing love and surrender, the collective emotion of everyone present in the auditorium, which did not leave a single dry eye in the room.

Everyone was excited at the prospect of witnessing the Lord swaying to the tune of World Music as he comfortably rested on the Jhoola, while also realising that the grand festivities that marked the past week would soon come to an end. Bhagawan was welcomed in the evening with the traditional Poorna Kumbham which was accompanied by Vedic chants and soulful Bhajans.
The evening’s proceeding began with the Vedic invocation by the girl students from Swami’s institutions. The highlight of the evening programme was the Sri Sathya Sai Award for Human Excellence, an award instituted by Bhagawan in order to honour and celebrate individuals who have gone beyond their call of duty into the realms of selfless service. The most unique aspect of this year’s awards was that the awards were celebrating and commemorating women from across the globe.
The award in the field of Education was given to Dr Sakena Yacoobi, who inspired millions in Afghanistan and Pakistan in the field of education by imparting knowledge and training. In the field of Health, the award was presented to Dr Sarada Menon, a 94-year-old Padma Bhushan awardee, who is the first woman psychiatrist of India. Smt Kousalya Periyasamy, who is among the first Indians to declare herself HIV positive and subsequently help thousands of others to rise above their fear and reignite.... To know more, click HERE
