CENTRO SAI HISPANO...UN SEVA PARA VOS...

CENTRO SAI HISPANO: (SITIO NO AFILIADO A LA ORG. SSS BABA).

"¡Oh!

 Gulbarga, bijapur y Mandya.

- JUNIO 01 A JUNIO 04, 2017

DIVINO DISCURSO RESUMEN - JUNIO 01,2017

If you want to know Me...

As I was doing my daily meditation in Swami's room, He asked me, "Have you read Bhagavathamu?" (Bhagawatham is one of the most popular text of the sacred story of Lord Krishna).

I sheepishly replied, "Not yet Swami."

"Bhagavathamu Chadivithe Baaga Avuthaamu (by reading Bhagavatam we become better)", He beautifully played with the word Bhagawatham in His typical Telugu.

He continued, "In the word Bhagawathamu there are five letters, Bha-Ga-Va-Tha-Mu. Each stands for a certain quality that one develops, by studying this sacred text. 'Bha' signifies Bhakthi (Devotion), 'Ga' denotes Gnana (Wisdom), 'Va' signifies Vairagya (Detachment), 'Tha' means...means...do you know what 'Tha' stands for?"

I was puzzled and hastily blurted out, "Swami! Is it Thyagamu (Sacrifice)?"

"No it is not Thyagamu, I am unable to remember what it stands for, well, the last letter 'Mu' means Mukthi (Liberation)", He concluded.

But I was intrigued and asked Him, " Swami! How can you, the all knowing, not know what 'Tha' stands for?"

"Oh! You see I do forget things, sometimes", He gave that half smile of mischief.

I knew He was up to something, instantly! And I did not want to leave it there.

(Well, those who have lived physically close to Him would know thatseemingly Swami used to forget certain things on certain occasions, which included names of people and often Swami used to remember students and devotees by a special 'nickname' that He had playfully coined for them, like the city they came from (Bombay boy) or country they belonged to (America man) or shape of their physique (Pakoda for oversized ones) or size of their body (Palm tree for a tall person) or profession (like Doctor or Professor)  or a particular project (Hospital boy or Drama boy), or even some special characteristic like spectacles (soda glasses) or white hair and so on. Of course this was something so typical of Swami, which we used to thoroughly enjoy).

I persisted, "Swami it was alright when You used to seemingly forget certain things while in the body, probably due to Jeeva Prajna (Individual consciousness) which perhaps would at times overshadow the Daiva Prajna (Divine consciousness), but how can You forget things now when You are all the time, Your Pure Divine Self?"

Pat came the reply, "Oh, you see when I decided to come as Sathya Sai Baba, I took a particular form with particular qualities, since I am still coming to you as Sathya Sai Baba, I am still behaving like Sathya Sai Baba."

That was a bouncer, as we used to say in a lighter tone.

"Swami, you are saying that YOU decided to come as Sathya Sai Baba, then who are YOU?", I was naturally curious.

He heard it, smiled, and leaned a little forward on His recliner sofa, to come closer to my face and whispered, "IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ME, THEN BECOME ME!"

I wondered that we may claim to know Him because of our association with Him for a few days or even decades, but none have truly known Him. As once He had said, "Only another Sai Baba can understand this Sai Baba." Therefore the only way to know Him truly is to become Him truly, pure and selfless.

"Aye! 'Tha' stands for Thatvamu (The Divine Principle)", He said it with a smile, the omniscient One!"
NATIONAL TEACHERS’ CONFERENCE 2017 – MAY 28 2017, DAY 3 – MORNING

The penultimate session of the three day National Teachers’ Conference, the theme for which was ‘Child Psychology’, began as the delegates and assembled devotees eagerly awaited the arrival of the Lord, who was welcomed with melodious Bhajans.

The first speaker for the session, who spoke before Bhagawan’s arrival, was Sri Rajesh Jagdish Singh, Marketing Head and Faculty, Ekaa Foundation. Sri Rajesh stressed on the need to evolve the techniques used in interacting with children since children themselves have evolved with time. He also emphasized on the need for a loving, communicative environment at home, the lack of which causes children to succumb to peer pressure. Sri Rajesh, during his talk, spoke at length at one of the most important factors that affects the nature and development of a child, peer pressure. He dwelled on its causes, its effects, the various forms in which it manifests and the tools that could help a child overcome peer pressure. He concluded his talk after opening the floor to questions and resolving the doubts and queries of the assembled audience.

The next speaker for the session was Smt. Sudha Kudwa, an eminent Counsellor from Malaysia. Smt Sudha enthralled the audience with her deep sighted insights and learnings from having interacted with children from a multitude of geographical, social and financial backgrounds. Smt Sudha began her talk, which involved....

NATIONAL TEACHERS’ CONFERENCE 2017 – MAY 28 2017, DAY 3 – EVENING

The concluding session of the three day extravaganza was a testimony to the power of love for it clearly established that every heart, over the course of the conference, was touched by the love of Bhagawan, each heart was etched with the desire to become an agent of change. Bhagawan was ceremoniously welcomed with the traditional Poorna khumbam and Vedam even as Bhajans were being sung. Swami, in typical style, went to every nook and corner of the hall, guiding and blessing the entire gathering, before proceeding to the dais.
The valedictory session began with the vedic invocation by the students of the Sri Sathya Sai Centre for Human Excellence, followed by the launch of the Kannada translation of the first two sets of books written on ‘Guru Vikas’. A video, that captured the experience and learnings of the teacher delegates in the conference, was played before the audience. The sentiments captured in the video echoed the essence of the theme of the conference, which is to practice before preaching.
Sri Ajay Kumar Sharma, an Assistant Elementary Education Officer in Rajasthan, addressed the gathering, expressing the collective gratitude of all the teachers gathered by means of a poem that he had written for the occasion. He concluded with a prayer to Bhagawan, seeking strength, inspiration and guidance to make the transition from a teacher to a ‘Guru’. Swami blessed Sri Ajay to open...

DIVINE VISIT TO HYDERABAD, GULBARGA, BIJAPUR AND MANDYA CAMPUSES - JUNE 01 TO JUNE 04, 2017

Swami visited four campuses of Hyderabad, Gulbarga, Bijapur and Gadag campuses by helicopter, starting off from the Sri Sathya Sai Samagamam stadium at Muddenahalli on June 1, 2017 at 08:15 a.m. It was a sight to see and no one wanted to miss the action as all young and old, gathered at the Stadium where a helipad was made for this purpose. As Swami was bidding ‘Good Bye’ with blessings, the winged machine rose steadily and smoothly, and gradually disappeared in to the skies amidst a thousand pairs of eyes watching it intently.
An hour and a half later, the helicopter refueled at the Bellary Airport, and Swami and His guests were received by the devotees and staff for a warm and delicious breakfast of South Indian delicacies. Swami blessed the devotees of Bellary and granted them the opportunity to be a part of the upcoming campus at Hampi, a few kilometres away.

HYDERABAD
The seven-seater chopper, with the latest anti-vibration and noise technology, was a smooth ride up again to Hyderabad and after another two hours it descended down on to the new land for the girls’ campus at Kondapaka village near Hyderabad, which was bought from an existing Trust, the Ananda Charitable Trust that was already running a temple, an orphanage and an old age home. The 12.5 acres of land was already cleaned, levelled and fenced for ten acres, an auspicious start toyet another gift of education to the poor and destitute girls of Telangana.
Two years ago, when Swami has first visited the Sai Seva Sangha, a Trust formed by an alumna of the Anantapur Campus, Smt Aruna Pradeep along with her husband Sri Pradeep Reddy and a few other well-wishers, who have been sheltering orphans and old people and giving free education to over 500 boys and girls....

INAUGURATION OF SRI SATHYA SAI PRASANTHI NIKETANAM - CAMPUS FOR WOMEN (CENTRE FOR HUMAN EXCELLENCE), NALLAKADIRENAHALLI, CHIKKABALLAPUR- JUNE 07, 2017

It is often said that educating a man results in his education alone whereas when a woman is educated, her entire family is educated and benefitted. Since woman is the pillar of the family, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has always been a champion of women’s education, empowerment and their welfare. The Bhoomi puja for a new girls’ campus was performed on the May 06, 2016 and almost exactly a year later, the campus is ready to start functioning. The June 07, 2017 will go down as a red-lettered day in the annals of history towards this most sacred cause as the first Centre for Human Excellence for Women was inaugurated.

The campus set in a most picturesque location, surrounded by hillocks and valleys along with the elegant and aesthetic architectural design is indeed a feast to eye.  The magnificent campus is in fact a gift of pure love and benevolence of Bhagawan. Every building and classroom was bedecked in floral décor awaiting the Lord’s arrival. Bhagawan along with a few chosen guests arrived at the campus situated in Nallakadiranahalli which is about 12 kms from Chikkaballpur at about 10 AM. He was received with the ceremonial Poorna khumbam and Vedic chants even as the Nadaswaram was being rendered to welcome Bhagawan. As He alighted...

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF EDUCATION?
DIVINE DISCOURSE SUMMARY – JUNE 01,2017

From the beginning, it was known that man is truly Divine. You are all born pure as the rain drop, which comes from the sky. But if the rain drop falls on dirty soil, it becomes dirty too. So, what are we doing here in these institutions? First, we do not want the rain drop to fall in the wrong place; we want it to fall in the right place so that it remains pure. Second, even if there is an impurity in the rain drop, we are here to purify it, to make it fit again for all purposes. These institutions are comparable to water purifiers, which are removing all the impurities and giving pure drinking water. So, what is this impurity that makes you unfit? It is selfishness, which is the cause of all impurities in an otherwise purely born child. From this selfishness is born all other negative qualities such as greed, anger, jealousy and the rest. Because of such desires, which are born out of selfishness, the pure child becomes impure with time.

So, should we not have any desires? “A good name for myself, my parents and institutions,” is it a bad desire to have? “Once I grow up, I must become capable, I must earn well, I must be able to look after my family.” Is it a bad desire?  No, as long as you are doing things for the sake of service to others. “I must study well so that I grow up, become...

AIM TO BE GOOD AND NOT GREAT – DIVINE DISCOURSE SUMMARY – JUNE 04, 2017

It is the responsibility of schools and colleges to impart, apart from bookish knowledge, the science and art of self-knowledge in which six qualities are included – good behaviour, good thinking, truthfulness, devotion, discipline and duty consciousness. Students who learn only bookish knowledge, bereft of value education, fill their heads alone, and not their hearts. This is the root cause of all the selfishness and self interest we see in society today. And the whole of mankind is subjected to so much of misery because of that. All students develop the desire to become great but they don’t desire to become good, serve and help others. You can become great, nothing wrong with that. But along with greatness, there should also be goodness. What is goodness? Good people are those whose hearts are filled with compassion. Good people are those who are not drowned in selfish pursuits, they also help and serve others. Of all the six qualities enumerated, devotion is most important. Only those who have true devotion to God will help others and neverharm others. Why? They know the truth that God pervades everyone, God is there in everyone. That is why they are not going to harm others. The true education is that which will make you realise your own divinity.

Many students may question what is the relationship between our studies and devotion to God. There is an inseparable relationship between success in the world and devotion to God. Those who have...
