Sri Rudram, una reunión con Dios.

OM SRI SAI RAM

Sri Rudram, una reunión con Dios.

Amados hermanos y hermanas:

Sukshma Baba Report 488  27-4-17  Ananda Vahini

Issue Seventy Three
April 27, 2017                                                                                   View in Browser
"Devotion is not just love for God. It also has as a component, service. It is natural if you love someone, you will serve him or her. Only when you serve the people whom you love, you can experience bliss. When you ask the question “How can I love God and serve Him?” the answer is “You have to love God in all and serve God in all.”
-Baba
With the Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, we are delighted to present our Seventy Third issue of Ananda Vahini.  The weekly newsletter includes interesting musings and short excerpts from the week's events.

In this issue, we bring you the first

In this week's INNER VIEW, Brother Madhusudan Naidu shares an interesting moment between the Lord and a devotee.

 INNER VIEW
By Sri Madhusudan Naidu

The greatest marriage..
It was in Padova - Italy ,that Swami was driven back from the Public Satsang to the home to the devotee in his car, that was decorated with a bouquet of flowers on the bonnet.

Obviously, it was an uncommon sight and it made many heads turn. A group of youngsters who noticed the flowers mistook it for some newly wed couple travelling in the car, and quite common to their custom, they clapped and cheered, looking at which Swami innocently asked me, "Why are they clapping?"

"Perhaps seeing the flowers they thought some newly wed couple is travelling in this car, so they are congratulating", I replied.

"Of course there is marriage, the greatest of all, that is being celebrated here. The marriage of Prakriti (the creation)  and Purusha (the creator). This union is the greatest of all, when the Jivaatma unites with the Paramaatma. That is what is represented by the devotee Radha and her Lord Krishna. That is the significance of the dual principle of Shiva-Shakthi. The true marriage is when the devotee merges in devotion with the Lord. It's an occasion that must be celebrated."

Swami being the Master of Masters, did not let go of this opportunity too, to tell us all a greater truth. Even as I was dwelling on this beautiful concept of the union of man and God, the devotee and the Lord, the Jeevaatma and Paramaatma, Swami said, "This marriage alone is true merger, all the rest is mere mirage".

DIVINE VISIT
ASSISI, ITALY
APRIL 21, 2017

It was time for Bhagawan’s entourage to leave for yet another divine trip, back again in Europe, with Italy as the first stop. Leaving Muddenhalli in the wee hours of Friday morning, April 21, the entourage reached Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport in Rome in the afternoon around 1:30 p.m. Brother Salvatore Iozza, Ms Maria Buffa and other devotees welcomed the entourage, and after loading the bags in the mini van, the retinue headed out to the holy land of Assisi, a two-hour drive from Rome. Last year when Swami visited Rome, He had agreed to the invitation of Sister Giovanna, an octogenarian nun from Assisi that He would come next year.
Assisi is a beautiful hill town with natures’ bounty, in the central Italy’s province of Perugia in the Umbria region, and the birthplace of legendary St. Francis (1181–1226), one of Italy’s patron saints and one of the most revered saints in Italy’s religious history.
St. Francis of Assisi abandoned a life of luxury and materialism, for a life devoted to service, after hearing the voice of God. Francis had a vision of Christ, that left him with the stigmata of Christ—marks resembling the wounds Jesus Christ suffered when He was crucified. It is said that Francis was the first person to receive such holy wounds, and was canonized as a Saint in 1228, two years....

DIVINE VISIT
ASSISI, ITALY
APRIL 22, 2017
After a traditional Indian breakfast of Poha (beaten rice) and Ragi dosa specially prepared to suit the Indian palates, Bhagawan accompanied by His entourage first proceeded to the Ermo delle Carceri, a small hermitage in a deep forest gorge at Mount Subasio, four kilometres above Assisi. St Francis lived in this hermitage and also had the vision of Christ. Brother Madhusudan later revealed that he saw St Francis leading Swami like an excited child through the hermitage, and showing Him around. Walking through the premises, one could feel the peace and serenity, and Swami revealed many things about the Saint. The place where St Francis had the vision of Christ was very small, but pulsated with high energy. And on this day, the same Almighty yet again manifested in the same place!
After walking a bit, Swami reached a spot where He gave a mini discourse about Saint Francis. He said, “Francis had the vision of God only twice in His entire lifetime, one at the very beginning, and one towards the end of his life. This had inspired him to live a life of service! He led a short life, but a great and quality life. People today want to live longer, go to the Hospitals and continue living like vegetables, but don’t want to give up the body. When you can be of service to others it is ok, otherwise the body should be given up! Why this attachment to the body? Only ignorant people are attached, those Who are knowledgeable know this is not the end. This is only a bend! A bend in the road, not...

DIVINE VISIT
ROME
APRIL 23, 2017
Cool breeze, rising sun, birds chirping and lush green patches of nature’s bounty, dotted with what seemed like well-fed sheep, welcomed the morning. Last minute preparations were underway for the Public Satsang in Rome. After breakfast, Swami proceeded to the venue which was about 15 minutes away from Casa del Divino.
As Swami entered the venue, he beckoned a young man Girolamo Grammatico, who showed him details of the Seva project he is currently involved with, and also prayed to Swami to bless the Association he wanted to commence, which would be a registered society to render shelter to the homeless, and also provide them with a means of surviving.
Swami was pleased with his efforts and immediately told him to share about his experience with all the devotees who had gathered during the Satsang. As Swami entered the hall, Bhajans were in progress, and over 400 devotees had gathered to welcome and revel in the love of their beloved Lord. It is phenomenal to see the way Swami interacts with each....

DIVINE VISIT
PADOVA
APRIL 24, 2017
MORNING
‘Ama Tutti, Servi Tutti’ (Love All, Serve All in Italian) is the very essence of all scriptures and all religions, which Bhagawan has been propagating time and again. At the entrance of Mr Ampilio’s residence ‘Sathya Sai Anandam’, which the Lord lovingly named during His last visit in 2016, this quote stands tall, gently reminding passers by of this ultimate truth. After breakfast, Swami wanted to meet the Seva volunteers who had been tirelessly working towards His visit, with this motto deeply engraved in their hearts. About 40 men and women assembled in the Prayer room of the residence, waiting with bated breath to once again experience the ultimate bliss of being in His presence.
As soon as Swami sat down, He enquired whether everyone had their breakfast, and spoke about how these days people are living to eat, unlike old times when people ate to live. He said, “Food is only a means to lead a life of Dharma, and it should not become your life. You should not become the slave of your tongue. You must eat what is good, not what is pleasurable. This is what is described in the Upanishads as the Shreyas and the Preyas. Preyas means that which is dear, which you like to do, which is pleasurable. But Shreyas is that which is good. Shreya means good fame. Therefore, between the two you should always choose that which is good for you, not that which gives....

DIVINE VISIT
PADOVA
APRIL 24, 2017
EVENING
A Public Satsang was organised at Pietro D’Abano, about 20 minutes from Mr Ampilio’s residence. Bhagawan and His entourage proceeded to the venue at 5 p.m and were engulfed with an overpowering love as they walked into the hall. Over 400 people had gathered, and soulful Bhajans were in progress. The way Swami touches the lives of His creation, man being the foremost, is indeed remarkable. It was truly an experience yet again to see devotees misty-eyed, and some even weeping uncontrollably, when Bhagawan walked past, picked a letter, or handed over a packet of Vibuthi or simply cast a glance!
After Bhajans, a short programme of music and dance was offered. Thereafter, Mr Isaac Tigrett took to the podium and yet again stressed that spirituality is each person’s individual journey, and no two journeys are the same. He said, “You cannot follow anyone. No one can follow you. The great thing that I keep trying to remember that Swami has kindly taught me in this life and perhaps others, is that I have actually died and I have been to the other side a couple of times. So I can assure you that there is nothing to be scared of because there is not only life after death, there is life before birth. You have to start looking at this perspective. Immortality is no joke! Swami was talking about it at...

DIVINE VISIT
ZAGREB, CROATIA
APRIL 25, 2017
An early breakfast was followed by Mangala Arati and departure to the Venice Airport for the flight to Zagreb via Vienna, Austria. As the entourage landed at the new terminal, they were greeted by Mr Mladen, Swami's host in Croatia, and Ms Karla Gasper, one of the organisers of the Divine Visit. Everyone reached the Mladen residence around 3:30 p.m. and were lovingly welcomed by Mrs Vesna Mladen. After a light lunch, everyone retired briefly, before proceeding to the residence of Mr Devraj and Mrs Lakshmi for dinner.

Having made Croatia their home for more than a decade, the couple love their Lord, and welcomed Him with utmost reverence. As Swami sat down, the Croatian devotees started chanting the Vedas with perfect intonation, as always which pleased Bhagawan. As they finished, Swami said, "Mantras have come in the minds of the Rishis of the past. Rishi means the one who receives Rika. Rika means Mantra. These Rishis received the Mantras in their mind. That is why it is 'Rik Veda' means full of Riks. Rik means Mantra. They were also called Mantradrishtas, which means they used to see the Mantra, not hear the Mantra. How can you see a Mantra? They don't see...

DIVINE DISCOURSE SUMMARY
HOW TO MAKE THE WORLD HAPPY AGAIN?
APRIL 20, 2017
How to make the World Happy again?
Men and women who live with the feeling ‘only this person belongs to me, the others don’t belong to me’, who lead their lives with this kind of narrow-mindedness, can’t really be called human beings. In fact, those people who always live in this kind of narrow-minded feeling and work with that kind of attitude, are worse than animals. For broad-minded people, the whole world is their family. Those people who develop this kind of broad-mindedness and consider everybody as their own, are truly divine.
The people of Bharat recognised the oneness of the whole existence and therefore, they prayed to God ‘Let everyone in the world be happy’. Only in India people prayed for the well-being of the whole world.
The truth is whenever people suffer in the society, it is our duty that we pray for everybody. Wherever I go, I give only one message. Punya or merit is helping others; sin or Papa is hurting others. Real Punya or merit is to love everybody and through that we can love God and reach God. We should not get into negative thoughts. We should be always surrounded by positive things: think positive, feel positive, speak positive.
Our Dharma is the Atma Dharma or the Hrudaya Dharma or the Dharma of heart or Prema Dharma. Whatever others may speak of, we should always follow our Dharma of love. We have to practise Prema Dharma, we have...
