Una manifestación espontánea en la sala de Bhajan ....
El 13 de noviembre 2007 resultó ser una experiencia memorable . Después de la sesión darshan, los bhajans había comenzado como de costumbre y se celebraban en la sala de bhajan por esos días. En el medio de la sesión de bhajans, Swami se paro , y empezó a hablar con los chicos. Y no fue una simple frase o dos, hubo un flujo de nectarino que todo el mundo empezó a disfrutar. Uno de los más valientes, suavemente coloco un micrófono delante de Swami, y así fue que todo el mundo sentado en la sala del salón Kulwant podía oírle.
Fue sólo un día después de que Akhanda bhajans había concluido. Todo el mundo pudo oír la voz de Dios que vino desde "dentro"!
Antes de compartir el texto del discurso divino para que todos puedan leer, disfrutar, asimilar y aprovechar, me gustaría narrar un episodio, que tiene profundas implicancias.
Estos eran tiempos en que Swami a diario preguntaba sobre el niño que hablo ese día en la universidad. Cuando Swami le preguntó: "¿Quién es el orador?", Uno de los muchachos se levantó.
"Swami es el orador".
"¿Es como reproducción de música?"
"No Swami."
"Entonces, ¿de dónde viene está música de la flauta ?"
"Desde el interior Swami ..."
"Recuerden . Las notas siempre vienen de adentro!" (A partir de Swami)
Con ese pequeño relato, siento que debo seguir para que todos y cada uno pueda disfrutar de la felicidad de sus palabras nectarinas y divinas .........
El significado de Akhanda bhajans.
Hay una diferencia entre Akhanda y Khanda. Este último es pensar en Dios, solo por un momento. Akhanda bhajan es pensar en Él siempre, en todo momento y en todos los lugares en los tres niveles de conciencia.
Hay tres agujas para dar la hora. Si una se mueve, todas las demás también se mueven. Una vuelta de la primera, hace que la segunda se mueva una unidad y así sucesivamente. A la aguja de las horas se le da más importancia. Así también, la variante más larga de la bhajan - por la mañana, tarde, y la noche es más importante.
Cada nombre de Dios tiene poder. Pero el poder debe ser utilizado de forma adecuada . Cada nombre tiene un poder.
Érase una vez un rey que le dijo a su loro que le cantara el nombre de Rama al cuervo y lo hiciera también repetir el nombre. El loro obedientemente fue al cuervo y le dijo: "Puedes ser de color negro, Oh cuervo! . Pero escucha el nombre del canto de Rama. Te hará brillante." Haciendo esto, el cuervo cayó muerto. El loro se sintió muy triste por esto y reporto al rey de lo que sucedió. Pero el rey le dijo al loro que hiciera la misma tarea con el pavo real esta vez. "Oh, pavo real, tú eres bello y grande, con el nombre del Canto de Rama, tu gloria crecerá.", dijo el loro del pavo real . Lo mismo ocurrió, murió. El loro estaba preocupado. Los pájaros habían muerto. Y el rey le dijo al loro, que dijera lo mismo a un ternero recién nacido.
(Swami narró esto emocionado) "¡Oh Rey! No dejes que obtenga otro pecado adicional . No voy a matar a un becerrro ", dijo el loro, pero fue en vano. Con temor, el loro pidió al ternero que cantara el nombre de Rama. Al hacerlo, el ternero también exhalo su último suspiro.
Finalmente, se entero que el príncipe había nacido.
¿Cuál fue la razón por la que el príncipe había tomado forma humana?. El nombre del Señor libera al alma de los distintos cuerpos, del cuervo, el pavo real y el ternero, y al fin obtiene el regalo de un nacimiento humano. Esta noticia se extendió por todo el reino.
Todo es divino. Dios está en todas las criaturas. Pero Dios especialmente toma la forma humana , por lo que el cuerpo humano es muy especial. Es por la gracia de Dios, que se toma la forma humana.
Pero a pesar de repetir el nombre del Señor, no hay transformación en el hombre. Esto es así porque no hay comprensión, fe y amor.
La fe es el amor. El amor es necesario. El hombre no pronuncia el nombre con amor.
La mente es vacilante. Por lo tanto no se ve la transformación. La mente debe mantenerse firme en el nombre. Cuando una canción se canta, ya están planificando la siguiente canción. Así, el hombre sigue siendo hombre y no evoluciona. El cambio está ahí dentro, debido al pensamiento de Dios. El carácter sagrado, se alcanza a través del canto y el pensamiento de que el nombre no debe ser notado por los demás, sino por el propio individuo, que debe llegar a ser conciente de él.
No es posible lograr el objetivo al pronunciar el nombre una sola vez. Hagan su trabajo, pero tengan en cuenta que esto es obra de Dios. Por lo tanto piensen en Dios, siempre de esa manera.
Las mujeres cocinan. Añaden sal, dhao, especias , etc . Al hacer esto, si lo hacen diciendo el nombre de Dios, se santifica. No se degrada al cocinarlo y ofrecerlo a los miembros de la familia, invitados, etc. Dios está en cada célula y átomo. Pero el hombre no se da cuenta de esto y siente que hace todo. Todo progreso es mundano, si uno no es consciente de la divinidad inherente.
Consideren todas sus acciones, palabras y pensamientos como de Dios. El sentimiento que hay detrás del canto es lo más importante. Decirlo de todo corazón una vez, eso es suficiente. Es igual a la hora de cantar.
La sensación que son como la aguja de las horas del reloj. Tiene valor. De lo contrario usted puede mantenerse cantando como el segundero del reloj y seguir moviéndose, pero sin valor.
No tiene valor los minutos y segundos. La manecilla de las horas es importante. La sensación es como la aguja de las horas.
No te preocupes por lo que dice la gente. Hoy en día, al no decir su nombre desde el fondo del corazón. La gente dice que no puede cantar su nombre a causa de resfriado, tos y que su voz no está bien. Canten dentro de si mismos. Eso le dará fuerza. El nombre de Dios es incomparable. Se puede resucitar a los muertos a la vida.
Savitri estaba triste porque su marido se había muerto. Pero Satyavan lo volvió a la vida. Sólo en Bharat las resurrecciones que se han producido por el nombre del Señor. Bharat es muy especial. No hay lugar como este. La mente pura es importante.
Meerabai también, finalmente dijo: "¡Oh Señor! Desde las profundidades del océano, he recogido la perla. No dejes que caiga de vuelta al océano." Si usted anhela la liberación, el nombre de Dios es necesario. Todos ustedes son chispas de lo Divino. Por lo que todos debemos ser como soy. La misma pureza del amor de Dios debe estar en ti.
Toda la creación es reacción, reflejo y resonancia. Así que hay que darse cuenta de que son divinos. Nunca olvides esto. Si se trata de recordar, equivale a la lectura del Bhagawat Geeta en su totalidad. Sean piadosos. "Mamaivamsho Jeeva Loke, Jeeva Bhoota Sanatanaha". Yo soy tú y tú eres yo, en las cualidades y la justicia.
El Dharma surge de la fe. La fe es la Verdad. La Verdad y el Dharma, la Fe y el Amor son Dios. Vivan en el amor. Usted puede tener muchas dificultades. No vacilen, no duden en su mente debido a los cambios. Todo esto pasa . Las olas siguen llegando, pero el agua sigue siendo. Tengan constante fe en las aguas. Los pensamientos son olas como las nubes pasajeras. Ellos no son permanentes.
Desarrollen el amor y no quedará nada que no se puedan alcanzar. La tierra y el cielo se puede transformar uno en el otro. El poder divino está en ti. Nunca descuides el nombre de Dios.
Todo lo que brilla no es diamante. Die-mente es el diamante. No persigan los placeres temporales. Ustedes serán engañados si los persiguen. Una vez que han decidido mantenerse en el Señor, aferrense a sus pies con firmeza. Y estará con ustedes todos los días en todas partes. Instalen el nombre del Señor en su corazón . Entonces su vida será santificada. Ese es su Shakti, bhakti y mukti, (poder, devoción, iluminación)
Nunca tomen las nubes pasajeras y pierdan el conocimiento eterno. Para enseñar esto, tenemos el Akhanda bhajans- cantar durante 24 horas-. En el medio si van o vienen , es Khanda Bhajan. Difícil de conectar. Incluso si te vas a casa o te alimentas, sigue cantando su gloria. Dios nunca dijo, renuncia a todo. Basta pensar en Dios como el que hace la actividad.
El Señor Krishna dijo: "¡Oh Arjuna! Lucha pensando en mí. Esta es la verdadera guerra." La guerra no es disparar, matar y bombardear. No hay nada grande en ello. Haciendo su trabajo y pensando en Dios, van a sobrevivir y vivir con una sonrisa. "
Una cara sonriente es necesaria. No tengas una cara de aceite de ricino. La verdadera felicidad se encuentra en la unión con Dios. Al llegar algunos pensamientos preocupantes, no te mataran. Especialmente aquellos que piensan en el matrimonio, este pensamiento mata. Incluso si ese pensamiento decía: "No es el matrimonio, sino 'mi altura!"
Cantar el nombre, es liberador. Usted no necesita preocuparse de sintonía y ritmo. El ritmo y la melodía del corazón es el jamón de - "yo soy eso". Mantener esa canción es suficiente. Se trata de una gran fortuna hacer namasmarana. Bhajans tenemos aquí todos los días. Es una gran fortuna. No se pierdan la fortuna que se le concede a ustedes. Que dará lugar al cumplimiento del objetivo de sus vidas.

A Spontaneous outpouring in the Bhajan hall....
The 13th of November, 2007 turned out to be a memorable one for it demonstrated yet another of His uncertainties. After the darshan session, bhajans had begun as usual and the bhajans would be held in the bhajan hall those days. In the middle of the bhajan session, Swami stopped the bhajans. He began to speak to the boys. And it was not a simple sentence or two, but there was a nectarine flow that everyone began to enjoy. One of the braver ones there, gently placed a mike in front of Swami and thus it was that everyone seated in the Kulwant hall could hear Him.
It was just a day after the Akhnada bhajans had concluded. Everyone could hear the voice of God that came from 'within'! Before I place the Divine text of the discourse for all to read, enjoy, assimilate and benefit, I would like to narrate one little episode which has profound implications.
These were the times when Swami would daily inquire about the boy who spoke in the college foyer. When Swami asked, "Who is speaker?", one of the boys raised himself up. Swami came to him and then pointed to the speaker above from which there was music coming and asked, "What is that?"
"Swami that is a speaker."
"Is it playing the music?"
"No Swami."
"Then where is this flute music coming from?"
"From inside Swami. Inside bhajan hall..."
"Remember, any speaker is like that. The notes always come from inside!" (from Swami)
With that little narrative, I feel that I should move out so that one and all can enjoy the bliss of His Divine Nectarine words.........
Understand significance of Akhanda bhajan. There is a difference between Akhanda and Khanda. The latter is to think of God momentarily alone. Akhanda bhajan is to think of Him always, every time and at all places- in all three levels of consciousness. There are three needles to tell the time. If one moves, all others also move. One round of first makes the second move and unit and so on. The hour hand is given most importance. So also, the longer variant of the bhajan – in the morning, afternoon, evening and night is more important.
Every name of God has power. But that power should be utilized properly and do bhajans. Each name has a power.
Once upon a time, a king told his parrot to go and chant the name of Rama to the crow and make it too repeat the name. The parrot dutifully went to the crow and said, "You may be black Oh crow! But listen and chant Rama’s name. It will make you bright.” Doing so, the crow fell down dead. The parrot felt very sad at this and reported to the king as to what happened. But the king told the parrot to do the same task to the peacock this time. “Oh peacock! You are beautiful and grand. Chant Rama’s name and your glory will grow.” The parrot told the peacock. The same thing happened there also. The parrot was now worried. Both birds had died. Now the king told the parrot to tell the same to a new born calf.
(Swami narrated this emotionally) “Oh King! Let me not get an additional sin now. I will not kill a baby,” said the parrot but to no avail. With trepidation, the parrot requested the calf to chant Rama’s name. Doing so, the calf too breathed its last. Finally, it came to be known that the prince was born.
What was the reason for the human form that the prince had. The Lord’s name liberated the soul from different bodies, of the crow, the peacock and the calf to finally gift it a human birth. This news spread all over the kingdom. Rama’s name made the crow a beautiful peacock. The peacock evolved into the calf and the calf in turn got a human birth.
Everything is divine. God is in every creature. But God specially takes a human form and so the human body is very special. It is God’s grace that results in human form. But inspite of repeating the Lord’s name, there is no transformation in man. This is because there is no understanding, faith and Love.
Faith is love. That love is needed. Man is not uttering the name with Love. He is on the lookout whether the tune beat etc are all fine. The mind is wavering. Thus no transformation is seen. The mind should be kept steady on the name. When a song is being sung, the others are planning for next song. Thus man remains man and does not evolve. Change is there within due to thinking of God alone. The sacredness that one attains by chanting and thinking of the name is not noticed by others but the individual himself comes to know of it.
It is not possible to attin totality by uttering the name once. Do your job but keep in mind that this is God’s work. Thus think of God that way always. Women cook. They add dhal, salt, spice etc. While doing so, if they do saying that it is for God, it gets sanctified. Don’t degrade it by offering it to members of family, cook, guests etc. At every step, think of God. God is in every cell and atom. But man does not realize this and feels that he is moving forward. All progress is worldly if one is unaware of the inherent divinity.
Consider all your actions, words and thoughts as that of God. The feeling behind the chanting is most important. Say whole heartedly once. That’s enough. It is equal to hours of chanting. The feeling makes it like the hour hand of the clock. It has value. Otherwise you can keep chanting like the seconds hand of the clock- Goes on moving but no value. No one has value for minute and second hand. Hour hand is importantly. The feeling is like the hour hand. Don’t bother about what people say. Nowadays none say His name from the bottom of the heart. People say that they cannot chant His name because of cold, cough and voice not being fine. Atleast sing within yourself. That will give strength.God's name is matchless. It can bring back the dead to life.
Savitri was sad when the husband was gone. But Satyavan came back to life. It is only in Bharat that resurrections have occurred by Lord's name. Bharat is very special. No place is like that. The pure mind is important. Meerabai also, finally said, "Oh Lord! From the depths of the ocean, I have collected the pearl. Let me not drop this back into the ocean." If you need liberation, God's name is needed. You are all sparks of Divine. And so you must all be like how I am. The same purity of Love of God must be in you too.
The whole creation is reaction, reflection and resound. So realize that you are Divine. Never forget this. If this is remembered, it amounts to reading Bhagawat Geeta fully. Be Godly. "Mamaivamsho Jeeva Loke, Jeeva Bhoota Sanatanaha." I am you and you are me in qualities and righteousness. Dharma arose from feeling which came of Faith. Faith is Truth. Truth and Dharma and Faith and Love are all God. Live in Love. You may have many difficulties. Don't waver and change mind due to them. All these will pass easily. Waves keep coming but water is still. Have the steady waters of Faith. Thoughts are waves like the passing clouds. They are not permanent.
Develop Love and nothing will remain that you cannot attain. Earth and sky can be transformed into each other. That Divine power is in you. Never neglect God's name. The power in it is known to all those who have experienced. All that glitters is not diamond. Die- mind is diamond. Do not chase temporary pleasures. You will be cheated if you chase them. Once you have decided to hold on to the Lord, hold on to His feet firmly. They will be with you always, everywhere. Install the Lord's name in your heart permenently. Then your life will be sanctified. That is your shakti, bhakti and mukti.
Never catch passing clouds and pass out. To teach this we have the Akhanda bhajan - to sing for 24 hours. In between if you keep going and coming, that is Khanda bhajan. Tough to connect the pieces. Even if you go home or for food, keep singing His glory. God never said to give up everything. Just think of God as you do your activity.
Lord Krishna said, "Oh Arjuna! Fight thinking of me. Then that is true war." War is not shooting, killing and bombing. Nothing great in it. Doing your work and think of Lord, you will survive and live smilingly. "
A smiling face is needed. Do not have a castor oil face. True happiness lies in union with God. When you get some worrying thoughts, do not kill yourself. Especially those that think of marraige, this thought kills. Even if that thought comes tell, "It is not marraige but 'my-rise'!"
Singing the name is liberating. You needn't worry about tune and beat. The beat and tune of the heart is one- So Ham - "I am that". Keep that tune its enough. It is a great fortune to do namasmarana. We have bhajans here everyday. That is a great fortune. Do not miss and spoil that fortune granted to you. It will lead to fulfillment of your lives.
