Tomando la inspiración de Bhagavan, y llevando el manto de Su Enseñanza Divina , un grupo de jóvenes de Australia, bajo el lema Somos tu Juventud Sai de Australia, organizó un programa musical en el Salón Sai Kulwant esta noche. El programa se inició al finalizar los Cantos Vedicos de una hora y media, justo a las 17 horas, Con la ofrenda habitual en el Maha Samadhi de Bhagavan.


 

Comenzaron con una canción de invocación en telugu, "Premamurthini Swagatham .." y el grupo continuó con "Sathya Sai We Love You ..." antes de iniciar un comentario, recordando  los consejos de Bhagavan durante la visita anterior del grupo el año pasado, para compartir el amor con todos. Con esto se cantó el tema "Swami, nosotros somos su juventud de Autralia ...", que fue seguido por un gran número en Telugu. Una canción más en Telugu siguió, esta glorificaba la importancia del servicio, y otra..

canción conocida siguió , "Sai Maatha Biddalame Andharam ..." que fue seguida por un "Qawwali" Meri Muhabbat Mera Khuda Hey ...". 

El grupo terminó el programa, expresando su gratitud a Bhagavan, orando para la guía continua para avanzar en el camino indicado por él, siguiendo su consejo, el "servicio comienza en el hogar ...". 

Los estudiantes se hicieron cargo de cantar bhajans durante los siguientes quince minutos, antes de que el  Mangala Arathi se realizara a las 18:00 hrs. 

Prasadam Especial se distribuyó en el final del programa.

El grupo de Australia estaba compuesto por alrededor de sesenta miembros, entre damas y caballeros de 25 a 35 años.

Taking a leaf of inspiration from Bhagawan, carrying the mantle of His precious Divine Teachings, a group of youth from Australia under the banner, Sai Youth Australia, staged a musical programme in the Sai Kulwant Hall this evening. The programme commenced at the end of half-an-hour Vedam chanting, just after 1700 hrs., with customary offering at Bhagawan's Maha Samadhi.

Beginning with an invocatory song in Telugu, "Premamurthini Swagatham.." the group continued with "Sathya Sai We Love You..." before bursting into a commentary, dwelling upon, reminding themselves of Bhagawan's advice during the group's previous visit last year, to share love with all. With this they sang "Swami, We Are Your Youth Autralia..." that was followed by an often heard Telugu number. One more Telugu song followed, that glorified the importance of service, yet another

familiar song, "Sai Maatha Biddalame Andharam..." which was followed by a "Qawwali "Meri Muhabbat Mera Khuda Hey...". The group ended the programme, expressing gratitude to Bhagawan, praying for continued guidance to move in the path shown by Him, following His advice "service begins at home...". Students took over to sing bhajans for the next fifteen minutes before Mangala Arathi at 1800 hrs. Special Prasadam was distributed at the end of the programme.


The group from Australia comprised of around sixty members, 35 ladies and 25 gents.

Esta tarde, continuando con la temporada de presentaciones, la compañía Parthi Yatra del distrito de Medak presentó una hermosa coreografía de un drama danzado de la oración  "Prarthana" ,en el Salón Sai Kulwant. 

Refulgente Bhagavan se veía a Sri Sathya Sai Baba en medio galaxias de estrellas, en el magnífico telón de fondo colocado para la drama. 

El tema del drama fue la decadencia de los valores en la juventud de hoy en día, con escaso respeto por Neeti (moral) y Nijayati (integridad) en la vida cotidiana. 

Tres jóvenes, que son devotos de Bhagavan, escrupulosamente siguen el camino de la verdad, la justicia, la paz, el amor y la no violencia. 

La sociedad se burla por haberse adherido a la ruta de la moralidad. En esta edad moderna no se utiliza  la adhesión a los valores e ideales, es el sentimiento compartido por la juventud materialista.





Este drama y danza fue cobrado más importancia, cuando se transmitió el mensaje de que a pesar de que Bhagavan no está físicamente con nosotros, Él siempre está guiándonos y cuidándonos a todos nosotros y nos incita a recorrer el camino de la moralidad. 

Al final, un ejecutivo de una empresa oferta empleos a los tres jóvenes, complacido por su rectitud. Los jóvenes están de acuerdo en unirse a la empresa, pero con una condición, que se les permita continuar el Seva (servicio) después de las horas de trabajo. 

Así, el drama de la danza termina con una nota feliz.


Después de cada escena del drama, bailaron  las niñas del ala Bal Vikas de la organización, proporcionando un intermedio artístico . A todo el elenco del drama y de baile de los miembros del distrito de la Organización Sri Sathya Sai de Medak, se le distribuyeron ropas .

Después de un Bhajans, algunos de los alumnos,  distribuyeron  prasadam, y la sesión de la tarde terminó con el Arati a las 18:00 horas. 

Mientras tanto, la Sri Sathya Sai Conferencia Internacional de Traumas y Ortopedia  de pelvis y extremidades inferiores, concluyó en el Instituto Sri Sathya Sai de Ciencias Médicas Superiores (SSSIHMS), Prasanthigram, esta noche.


Algunos de los temas que se trataron en la jornada final incluyó "artroplastia de fractura acetabular en pacientes de edad avanzada", "fracturas abiertas en los niños", "Situación actual de la Ortopedia en la India", entre otros.


El Jefe del Departamento de Ortopedia, SSSIHMS, el doctor Kailash Rao, en su discurso de clausura agradeció a Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba por Su benevolencia, para la finalización con éxito de la conferencia. El Dr. Rao también agradeció al Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust por su apoyo en general y la cooperación en la organización de la conferencia. Además, agradeció a todos los miembros de la facultad por su tiempo y por compartir su experiencia. Se felicitó a todos los miembros  del Departamento de Ortopedia  de la facultad por participar en la conferencia.


El segundo grupo de Sevadals de Himachal Pradesh se hizo cargo hoy del Servicio en  Prashanti , y el lote de salida fue felicitado en el Auditorio Poornachandra esta tarde. 

Después de una presentación de un vídeo, Sri S.V. Giri, representante del Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, habló con el Sevadals durante una hora, antes de que el Mangala Arathi se ofreciera a Bhagavan para concluir la sesión.

This evening, continuing with the presentation stint, the Parthi Yatra troupe from Medak district presented a well-choreographed dance drama “Prarthana" meaning prayer in the Sai Kulwant Hall. Effulgent Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba amidst galaxy of stars formed the magnificent backdrop for the drama. The theme of the drama was the decadence of values in today’s youth with scant respect for Neeti (morality) and Nijayati (integrity) in everyday life. Three youth, who are Bhagawan’s devotees scrupulously follow the path of truth, righteousness, peace, love and non-violence. They are pooh-poohed by others in society for adhering to moral path when there was rampant corruption and materialism in the world. In this modern age there was no use in adhering to values and ideals, is the sentiment echoed by the materialistic youth.




This dance drama gains added importance when it conveys the message that though Bhagawan is not physically with us, He is always guiding and guarding us and goading us to tread the moral path. At the end, a chief executive of a company offers job to the three youth, pleased by their uprightness. The youth agree to join the company, but on a condition that they be allowed to continue Seva (service) after the working hours. Thus, the dance drama ends on a happy note.

After every scene of the drama, dances by girls of the Bal Vikas wing of the organisation provided a fitting dramatic interlude. All the cast of the dance drama were distributed clothes for their sterling performance by the members of the Medak district Sri Sathya Sai Organisation. After a few Bhajans by the students and distribution of Prasadam, the evening session ended with Arati at 1800 hrs.

Meanwhile, the Sri Sathya Sai International Orthopaedic Conference on Pelvis and Lower Extremity Trauma concluded at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS), Prasanthigram this evening.

Some of the topics discussed on the concluding day included “Arthoplasty for Acetabular Fracture in Elderly Patients”, “Open Fractures in Children”, “Current Status of Orthopaedics in India”, amongst others.

The Head of Department of Orthopaedics, SSSIHMS, Dr. Kailash Rao in his closing remarks thanked Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba for His kind benevolence for the successful completion of the conference. Dr. Rao also thanked the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust for its overall support and co-operation in the organization of the conference. Further, he thanked all the faculty members for their time and for sharing their expertise. All the faculty members were felicitated by the Department of Orthopaedics for participating in the conference.

The second batch of Sevadals from Himachal Pradesh took over Prasanthi Service today and the outgoing batch was felicitated in the Poornachandra Auditorium this afternoon. After a video presentation Sri SV Giri, Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, spoke to the Sevadals for an hour before Mangala Arathi was offered to Bhagawan concluding the session.

Para la noche de hoy, Swami había acordado un programa por la juventud de EE.UU.. Muchos de los participantes en este programa de música, fueron ex-estudiantes de la Universidad. 

Swami salió de darshan en la silla de ruedas!, sin coche y que de por sí era motivo de gran alegría entre todos. 

Él habló con algunas de las damas y recopilo cartas de muchas de ellas. Al pasar por los chicos, en el medio, tomó cartas de casi todos los que le ofrecieron. Luego dio la vuelta se dirigió hacia los caballeros. Mientras se acercaba a los chicos que cumplían años en ese dia, los bendijo también. 

Finalmente, después de haber traído tanta alegría con este gesto inesperado, Swami se sentó en el estrado para disfrutar de los cantos védicos. Entonces,  pidió que el programa comience.


Tres miembros, subieron al escenario y le entregaron tarjetas y rosas a Swami. Después de buscar sus bendiciones, la primera canción comenzó. Eran canciones en diferentes idiomas, hindi, telugu e  Inglés. Hubo una gran cantidad de instrumentos-tabla, armonio, tambores, mridangam, guitarra eléctrica, etc, y las canciones fueron intercaladas entre los caballeros y damas. En el medio, también hubo un espectáculo de danza. Dos muchachas se acercaron a Swami y le pidieron, si podían hacer un baile y Swami acordó con gracia. Ellas hicieron el tradicional arco de Bharatanatyam a Swami y luego comenzó el baile. La danza se realizo con el ritmo de la famosa canción "Bho Shambho". En sintonía con Raag Revati la canción tiene en sí la capacidad mágica para despertar en el oyente un gran sentido de desapego hacia el mundo y una intensa reverencia a Dios. Las dos muchachas bailaban con gracia, pero con fuerza y Swami siguió mirando con interés y con una sonrisa mística .

Hay algo tan misterioso en la forma de sentir y relacionarse con Swami. Cuando lo llamamos ,como el travieso niño de Brindavan, Él parece tan tierno, inocente, tan lleno de dulzura. A medida que cantamos las glorias del Señor Shiva y nos sumergimos en ellas, se parece al Señor de cuello azul y nos deja asombrados con su magnífica presencia. Cantando acerca de Rama, y  sentimos como el perfecto, lleno de dignidad y equilibrio. 

En esta ocasión, cuando la canción al Señor Shiva avanzaba, parecía que había un aura de grandeza en él.


La danza llegó a su fin y Swami llamó a las bailarinas. Se acercaron en forma recta y se  postraron a sus pies. Su mano de inmediato giró y apareció de la nada, un hermoso collar en la mano. El amorosamente lo puso alrededor del cuello de una bailarina, cuando la bailarina segunda miraba. Uno no podía dejar de empatizar, con los sentimientos encontrados de la segunda bailarina. Ambas habían hecho los mismos esfuerzos y se sometieron a los mismos sacrificios. Sin embargo, sólo una de ellas parecía ser recompensada. A medida que fueron poco a poco y con gracia, haciendo su camino de regreso, Swami llamo cariñosamente a la bailarina segunda. Hizo un gesto con la mano y materializó  un anillo y hubo dos explosiones repentinas, un estallido de aplausos del público y un estallido de emoción de la artista!


Luego siguieron las canciones, sólo que ahora parecía un sonido más cargado. La variedad en las canciones fue muy agradable. Swami también presencio todas las canciones, y concedió una sonrisa, agitando las manos y cerrando los ojos, como si estuviera en  contemplación. El programa terminó y Swami les dijo que continuaran con bhajans. Después de los bhajans, Swami bendijo el Prasadam que se distribuyo a todos los presentes. Luego recibió el Aarthi y se retiro al Yajur Mandiram.

USA devotees in an August assembly!_ August 01_2007






For today evening, Swami had agreed for a programme by the youth from USA. Many of the participants of this music programme were ex-students of the University. Swami came out for darshan in the wheelchair itself! The car was absent and that in itself was reason for great cheer among all. He spoke to few of the ladies and collected letters from many of them. As He passed through the boys in the middle, He took letters from almost everyone who had one. Then He went around the gents side. As He neared the birthday boys, He blessed them also. Finally, having brought so much joy with this unexpected gesture, Swami sat on the dais enjoying the Vedic chants. Then, He asked for the programme to begin.

Three members went on stage and handed over the card and roses to Swami. After seeking His blessings, the first song began. What followed next were songs in different languages- Hindi, Telugu and English. There was a plethora of instruments- tabla, harmonium, drums, mridangam, electric guitar etc. The songs were well distributed between the gents and ladies. In the middle, there was a dance performance too. Two lads went up to swami and requested Him as to whether they could perform a dance and Swami graciously agreed. They did the traditional Bharatanatyam bow to Swami and then began the dance. The dance was set to the rhythm of the famous song "Bho Shambho". Tuned to Raag Revati the song has in it the magical capacity to arouse in the listener a great sense of detachment towards the world and an intense reverence for God. The two lads danced gracefully yet powerfully and Swami kept watching them with a mystical smile and interest.

There is something so mysterious about the way we feel and relate to Swami. When we call out to Him as the mischievous babe of Brindavan, He appears so tender, innocent, so full of sweetness. As we sing out the glories of Lord Shiva and get immersed in them, He resembles the blue necked Lord and we gape in awe at His magnificent presence. Sing about Rama, and there He sits as the perfect one, full of dignity and equipoise. On this occasion as the song on Lord Shiva progressed, there seemed to be an aura of grandeur about Him.

The dance concluded and Swami called the dancers to Him. They went and straight prostrated at His feet. His hand immediately twirled and there was a beautiful necklace in place of the empty air in His hand. He lovingly put it around a dancer's neck as the second dancer looked on. One could not help empathising with the mixed feelings the second dancer might have gone through. Both had done the same efforts and undergone the same pains. Yet only one seemed to be amply rewarded. As they were slowly and gracefully making their way back, Swami lovingly called out to the second dancer. He waved His hand and materialized a ring and there were two sudden bursts - a burst of applause from the audience and a burst of emotion from the artiste!

Then the songs continued, only now they seemed to sound more charged up. The variety in the songs was really nice. Swami also sat through all the songs, granting a smile , waving His hands and closing His eyes as if in contemplation. The programme ended and Swami told them to continue with bhajans. After the bhajans, Swami blessed Prasadam to be given to all present. He then received Aarthi and left.

Bhagavan Baba salvó a la madre Eart_Bhagavan Baba Saved the Mother Earth.

El Señor misericordioso, Bhagavan Baba, salvó a la madre Tierra. . .

La noticia de hoy en la primera página, informa del último terremoto y la destrucción masiva que se había causado en Noruega. Desde que Bhagavan Baba fue admitido en el hospital, los informes de los terremotos menores y mayores están saliendo de distintas partes de la tierra, casi 3 o 4 de ellos cada semana. Creo que todo el mundo está siguiendo la noticia en los medios de comunicación, con regularidad. Tiempo atrás, me habían enviado un mensaje sobre este asunto, como recibido de Bhagavan Baba. Swami había explicado claramente sobre la crisis en el seno de la Madre Tierra (Bhoo Garbha) y cómo Bhagavan, por compasión y misericordia hacia la humanidad, había arriesgado su propia vida. Swami había declarado entonces que tenía que absorber los efectos causados del masivo terremoto en Japón. Bhagavan también había dicho, que El  había minimizado los efectos de la radiación nuclear impensable. En una entrevista, hace varios años, Bhagavan había dicho el señor R.K. Karanjia, editor de "The Blitz" que este avatar, había venido a salvar al mundo de un holocausto nuclear. Sin embargo, Bhagavan Baba, al absorber la radiación radiactiva procedente de la explosión de varios reactores nucleares de Japón, uno no puede ni imaginar en qué medida el desastre habría ocurrido. El sacrificio de Bhagavan habría hecho posible que los residentes de la Madre Tierra, pudiesen respirar y vivir en libertad . Swami había mencionado que es la codicia de la gente, por explotar los recursos minerales y otros derivados del petróleo, causaban confusión en el garbha Bhoo (el vientre de la Madre Tierra). Cuando van a despertar los gobernantes del mundo, y van a tomar nota de los riesgos que están causando a las futuras generaciones del pueblo terrenal ? ¿Cuando van a empezar a planificar, para salvar los valiosos recursos y realizar un consumo racional de los mismos? Sólo podemos rezar a nuestro Señor Sai para que continúe protegiendo a la humanidad....Samastha Loka Sukhino Bhavanthu !.

The merciful Lord, Bhagavan Baba
Saved the Mother Earth.


Sai Ram.
Today’s front page news, deliberates the latest earthquake and the massive destruction it had caused in Norway. Since Bhagavan Baba was admitted in the hospital, reports of so many minor and major earth quakes are coming out, from various parts of this earth, almost 3 or 4 of them every week. I believe everyone is following this news in the media, regularly.

Long back, I had sent out a message in this matter, as received from Bhagavan Baba. Swami had vividly explained about the turmoil in the womb of Mother Earth (Bhoo Garbha) and how Bhagavan had, out of compassion and mercy towards the humanity had risked his own life. Swami had then declared that he had to absorb the effects of the massive after effects of Earth quake in Japan. Bhagavan had also said that it was Bhagavan who had minimized the unthinkable effects of nuclear radiation. In an interview, several years ago, Bhagavan had told Mr. R.K.Karanjia, Editor of “The Blitz’ that this avatar had to come to save the globe from a nuclear holocaust. But for Bhagavan Baba, absorbing the Radioactive radiation emanating from the bursting of several Nuclear Reactors of Japan, one could not even imagine to what extend the disaster would have been.

The sacrifice of Bhagavan had made it possible for residents of this Mother Earth, to breathe free and live on.

Swami had mentioned that it is the greed of the people, which had made them to exploit the mineral and other petroleum resources, causing turmoil in the Bhoo garbha (the womb of Mother Earth).

When are the rulers in the world going to wake up and take note of the risk they are causing for the future generations of the earthly people? Will they start thinking and start planning to save the precious resources by judicious consumption?

We can only pray to our Lord, Sai to continue to protect the humanity.
